Johnny Walker Red

A good friend and companion Red passed over the Rainbow Bridge. Like Rudyard Kipling’s cat, he walked alone but loved and protected his owner and pack mate.  Through his quiet presence and devotion, he won the affection of everyone who met him.  After a life on the streets, his last years were spent being pampered and adored by his owner.

Goodby my friend

Check out our adoptable dogs on the "Our Dogs" page. We are holding shortened Adoption Days every other Saturday, weather permitting, outside PetSmart in the Bridgewater Promenade.

We are not participating in any in person special or fundraising events this year, so we especially need your help.

Please donate here to help us continue our mission for rescue pets.

Adoption Event Saturday July 3rd Weather permittingSpecial Outside Adoption Event at PetSmart

As long as it does not rain, we will be holding a special outside Adoption Event on July 3rd from 11 AM to 12:30 PM next to PetSmart in the Bridgewater Promenade.  We will be practicing safe social distancing.   We are trying to keep everyone safe, so we are doing as much as possible of the adoption process online.  Please check  out Petfinder, go to the "Our Dogs" tab if you are interested in adopting, or email us at rawhiderescue@hotmail.com and we will get back to you.
