Estelle sadly passed over the rainbow bridge on Saturday, September 28th after a brave fight with a mast cell tumor.
She was rescued from a horrible hording situation in Monmouth County in 2011 and because of her early years there was an extremely shy girl. She was rescued by Rawhide at 5 years old and was adopted by her foster Mom shortly after that. She lived a content, happy life for the last 7-1/2 years with her canine brother and sister.
Although Estelle never fully got over her shyness, she did enjoy water and came out of her shell when she was in a pool or swimming in a stream with her canine pals. She would also come out after everyone was asleep and run up and down the halls with her favorite toy which was a shower puff taken from the bathtub.
She was a very special girl who will be very much missed by her foster Mom all those who got to know her.
